Murrum Primary School is a supported inclusion school. Supported inclusion schools are local government schools with some extra accessibility features. These features help them teach and support more students with a disability.
At Murrum Primary School, we strive to make the enrolment process smooth and transparent for all families.
Children must meet the following requirements to enrol at Murrum Primary School:
- Age - The child must be turning 5 years old by the 30th April of the academic year.
- Address - All children who live in our local neighbourhood as defined on the Find My School website are eligible. (See school zone below).
- Residental Status - All children who are residents of Australia, New Zealand residents. Some VISAs are eligible to enrol and some will be required to be enrolled via the Internationally Education Division, which is independent of the school.
Children must meet all immunisation requirements before the first day of school.

2027 Prep (Foundation) Enrolments
Enrolments for 2027 Prep (Foundation) will open across Victoria on Monday 20 April 2026 for children who turn 5 years old by 30 April 2027.
Key Enrolment Dates:
- 20 April 2026: Enrolment applications open
- 31 July 2026: Applications close
- 3 – 14 August 2026: Schools notify families of application outcomes
- 28 August 2026: Deadline for families to accept enrolment offers
Required Documents
Parents must submit the following documents to complete the registration process:
- Complete the Murrum Primary School Enrolment Expression of Interest
- Completed Enrolment Form - Available at the school office or on our website
- Birth Certificate or Passport - Copy Provided by families with enrolment form
- Residential Address Verification - 100 points of ID as per the DE approved verfication list (100 point list)
- Previous School Reports - If available
- Immunisation Certificate - Provided by families with enrolment form
- For Supported Inclusion Placement - All Allied Health reports and diagnosis reports for an Intellecutal Disability with Full Scale IQ of less than 70.
All required documents must be submitted before the child’s start date.
If your family do not reside inside the school neighbourhood as outlined on Find My School website you may submit an application which may be considered.
If your family lives out of zone, yet your child has a diagnosed Intellectual Disability they may be eleigible for a Supported Inclusion Placement. This is dependent on enrolment numbers and capacity of spaces.
